Online trade magazine Installer Online commissioned me to interview leading brands about the current market conditions, the needs of their customers and how they are preparing for net zero and a sustainable future.
I interviewed Kevin Lucas, Business Development and Operations Manager for Hisense UK to find out how current industry trends are providing opportunities for this global company to grow in the UK and Ireland.

I talked to Alex Hooley, Head of Trade for Ideal Standard UK to discuss current industry market trends and the company’s commitment to sustainability and decarbonisation.

I met with Sebastian Fleet, Head of National Accounts at RWC to talk about the current market situation, meeting the needs of customers, training and development, and how the business is getting ready for a sustainable future.
A firm of Coventry Architects managed the restoration and conservation of Coventry Guildhall. I wrote their entry for the Civic Awards, which was Highly Commended, and the press release I wrote and sent to celebrate this success resulted in Heritage Now magazine requesting this full length article about the project.
I worked with the client to understand their business, then rewrote their website, to showcase them as a local, experienced company that provides a personal service for its clients.
It was important to highlight the many services the company offers for local businesses and individuals. The objective was to take the stress and time-consuming paperwork out of compliance with tax, book keeping and accounts, and remove the headache of legislation compliance for clients.
I also spoke to each team member to find out more about them, to present them as professional, knowledgeable, approachable and friendly.
Lovely images of the village location and the team members make the site welcoming.
Once the copy was written and approved, I worked with a team of freelancers to build a new website to replace original the single page site. We added contact forms, policies and documents to make life easier for both the business and its clients.

I was asked to write a blog for Meliora's website about a recent renovation they had undertaken in an historic, Grade II listed building in Gloucestershire.
Meliora gave me the schedule of works and the tender drawings, along with before and after images.
I researched the history of the building, using its listed status, and also its links to the Bisley Boy conspiracy theory.
From all this information, I wrote the copy, explaining all the works that were carried out and how the materials and methods used met the requirements of the Listed Building Consent.
As well as the blog, the copy has also been used in the 'projects' section of the Meliora website to demonstrate the high standards of craftsmanship the company provides.
